Ko Olina Kapolei

Have a detailed map of Oahu? Is it recent? If not your map may be missing Kapolei, the fastest growing town on the island of Oahu.

Kapolei is found stretching alongside the end of H-1 near the south western corner of the island. In a short amount of time, a vast amount of homes, shopping malls, and movie theatre have sprung up.

Hawaii’s first waterpark, the Hawaiian Waters Adventure, is the towns main appeal to tourist.
The waterpark is following in the footsteps of its predecessors found in Florida, California, and elsewhere. It features a mix of twisting plastic tube, which you can raft or slide down, designated children’s play areas, and of course, a wave pool. With all the amazing beaches, it hasnt been able to attract major numbers yet, but is gaining every month.
Less then 4 miles from Hawaiian Waters Adventures is the Kapolei Shopping Center.

The shopping center is found near the Ko Olina Beach Resort, which overlooks the Pacific Ocean. The resort boasts a private marina, golf course, and numerous beach lagoons.
