Ko’olau Golf Course, named the “#1 Golf Course on Oahu” by Golf Digest is among the highest ranked and most difficult US golf courses. The 200-acre course was constructed in 1991 as a private country club for the high roller golfers of the world. Because of its huge acreage and tropical Hawaiian terrain, golf writer Tom Haynes nicknamed golfing Ko’olau as “monster jungle golf”. Others call Ko’olau “The World’s Most Challenging Golf Course.”

Waikele is a challenging course but open to players of all skill levels as a result of its excellent design. The course features many water obstacles and unique topographical challenges alongside phenomenal water vistas of Pearl Harbor. Some of the obstacles are as challenging as the views of the Ko’olau and Waianae mountains are breathtaking.
